My Background
I started programming in 2012 - PHP, MySQL, the classic LAMP stack. Over the years, I've seen and rescued more legacy systems than I'd like to admit. From Shopware 4 to PHP 5.3 monoliths without tests.
What drives me: Understanding why systems grow the way they do. Technical debt isn't always a mistake - sometimes it was the right decision at the time. My job is to find the path forward without throwing away what works.

I'm technology-agnostic, but I have my preferences:
- Backend: PHP (Laravel, Symfony), Go, Node.js
- Frontend: Vue.js, React, TypeScript
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- E-Commerce: Shopware 5/6, Custom Solutions
How I Work
Remote-first, DACH-wide. For workshops and critical phases, I come on-site (Germany). I take maximum 2 mandates in parallel to ensure quality. No junior developers with my face on the proposal.
